(Jumping Trout, LLC 2020) I recently discovered this awesome app that let's you pay for a personalized message from a celebrity of your choosing. I first found out about this from a friend at work, they (jokingly) paid $1 for one of the employees at Cameo to give her a shout out for her birthday. It was a really funny message about how we couldn't afford a real celebrity, so we settled for that guy.

Whether you're willing to pay $1 or $1,000, there's someone for everyone. I was actually surprise at how many popular celebs were willing to go out of their way to send a personalized message to a stranger (for the right price of course). From Michael Lombardi to Gilbert Gottfried to Flavor Flav - the choices were astounding.

So, I decided to try this app to see how well it actually works. My dad's birthday is today and he's a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. When he's not watching, he's listening to them on the radio. On Cameo, I noticed that Pat Hughes, commentator for Cubs radio was $50! He has such a recognizable voice so me and my sister went in on getting a personlized message from Pat Hughes. The results? I was not disappointed.

I'm not sure if he was bored that day, or just wanted to be extra nice, but he ended up sending me a 2:30 message with a voicemail recording that he can have! He was so thorough in his message and did everything I asked, plus more. I would definitely recommend this app (and Pat Hughes) to anyone who's looking to do something different for their loved one.

The process was easy overall, you click on the celebrity you want, then fill in the fields: Who the message is from, who is it for, what's the occasion, and what you'd like them to say. Then you pay you $50 and wait a few days for Cameo to send you an email saying your video is ready. After that, the video is all yours. You just head to the Cameo app and download your video. Haven't showed it to him yet, but I can't wait to see his reaction.

You should check it out - Cameo.com.
