Amazon Prime Day reportedly delayed
Jumping Trout, LLC
(CNET July 2, 2020) Amazon's Annual Prime Day is usually in July, but due to concerns over the coronavirus, the online retail company has decided to postpone Amazon Prime Day until Octobe according to a report from Business Insider. There are concerns that recent spikes in coronavirus outbreaks might impact the supply chain.
Originally postponed until September at first, we're now looking at a later date for good deals. During the public heath crisis, Amazon struggled to respond to a rush of customer orders. They had to institute new safety protocols and restrictions in order to ship food and basic needs. In the last month or so, shipping times have almost returned to normal.
Amazon has not officially released a statement reguarding Prime Day.
