(CNET July 6, 2020) Online sales have soared due to COVID related shopping habits. Because of this, many items are out of stock. If you're tired of seeing this alert, there may be a solution for you. Instead of checking back and forth on your desired items, a new application can tell you when those items are back in stock.
Uptime Robot uses the term 'monitor' to refer to the thing it will be tracking. It's a website that monitors specific items by tracking their source sites. The alerts are a little confusing, but once you have your alerts set, Uptime Robot will check for your item every 5 minutes.
Again, the presets and alerts can be confusing to follow, but it's nice to know you can order that PS4 when you want to. There's also an app fro iOS and Android so you can receive text messages.
Would you try this? Or should we just keep checking Amazon?
