(CNET July 6, 2020) If you happened to miss the comet during it's closest past on July 3rd, there are still other ways you can view Neowise before the week is over.

According to NASA, it should remain visible until July 11th. After that, the comet will dip below the horizon and shift from a morning riser to a cocktail hour. It will start to be visible again around July 15-16.

The advice that's been shared by those who have successfully seen the comet is to locate it by a telescope or binoculars first, then you should be able to view it with the naked eye.

The comet's closest pass to Earth will be July 23, but since comets can dissolve upon arrival of the atmosphere, let's all cross our fingers that we can view it before it's gone! Comet Neowise will return in 8786.
